“Love God, all you saints; God takes care of all who stay close to him, But he pays back in full those arrogant enough to go it alone.

Be brave. Be strong. Don’t give up. Expect God to get here soon.” — Psalms 31:23–24 MESSAGE

Yesterday I took a call from someone whose father had recently passed away in a fire, whose spouse had left them, whose attorney robbed them of several thousand dollars and whose banker foreclosed on their house. They called sobbing; asking for prayer.

I cried too, and prayed. When we were done, nothing had changed in the situation. Yet, at the end of the conversation as we wiped away the tears, there was and still is, hope.
